FIM Asian Congress In Hong Kong

In the recent Asian Motorcycle Union Congress in Hong Kong recently held last January 6-7, 2009 was attended by 15 Asian National Motorcycle Federations namely, Philippines, Japan, Mongolia, Thailand, Taiwan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Guam, Korea, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, Singapore & Malaysia. There was also a presence of Mr. Robert Rasor , International VP of the AMA ( USA ) whom presented the UAM with a strategic Planning session to be in line of the FIM current overhauling strategic planning process.

The next 2010 UAM Asian FIM Congress shall be hosted in Manila, Philippines on January 15-16, 2010, this shall be a very important meeting since the new board of officers of the current Asian FIM Union shall be elected at the said general assembly in Manila in 2010 and shall be the deciding direction of the future of the new UAM in line with the recurrent strategic planning process of which is updating the current statues and by laws of the FIM of which has not been updated in the last 100 years.

NAMSSA President, Macky Carapiet, expressed the pleasure of hosting the important meeting in order to show the kind Filipino hospitality and important role the Philippines plays in the Asian motorcycle sports of whom the NAMSSA Philippine team has supported majority of their events.
