With an Entry list of 31 Riders from 9 different Countries and just 20 gates allocated for the challenging Jember Supercross purpose built track inside the Notohadinegoro Football Stadium, it was obvious there would be 11 disappointed Riders not lining up for the single point scoring 20 lap final on Sunday 10th August.
The NAMSSA Philippine Team shall be sending the Philippine Motocross Team representative to the 2008 FIM Asian Supercross Championships to be he ld in Jember in Indonesia on August 10-11, 20008 at the Main Stadium Noto Hadinegoro Jember, East Java. Currently the NASMSA is running the 10 round National Supercross Series and shall currently field its current champion Kenneth San Andres of JMS Racing Team. This is the current Round 3 of the FIM Asian Sueprcross Championships of which already ahs visited Round 1 in Puerto Princesa City in the Philippines, then to Kaveh, Iran the onto to Indonesia for the Round 3 then proceeding to Guam, USA then after. The supporters of the Philippine Team are Philippine Sports Commission & POC.

The Fast Track circuit in Taguig shall hosting its first ever off road moto school on January 6, 2008 ( Sunday ) . The school shall be hosted by Japanese Veteran Instructor Ken Tabuchi a certified and current instructor from Japan and races with Yamaha Motor Co. The school shall start at 9 am to 5pm and the track shall be closed on this Sunday for the school purposes. PUERTO PRINCESA CITY MAYOR Edward S. Hagedorn accepting the hosting of the 2008 FIM Asian Motocross Championships Round 1 for the Philippines from Macky Carapiet, President of the FIM Asian Motocross Commission for the biggest motorsports event to be held in the country in Puerto Princesa City on February 24, 2008. The event has over 10 countries participating with ESPN global television coverage packaged with the event and shown to over 540 million household globally. The Asian tour shall be going to Philippines, Macau, Iran, Singapore, Indonesia and Guam.
The launching of the 2008 FIM Asian Motocross Championships shall beheld on February 24, 2008 at the Sta. Monica Heights race track in Puerto Princesa City Palawan. On Wednesday, September 26, Pastrana hopped a flight from his home in Davidsonville, MD, to Arecibo, Puerto Rico, to perform a stunt he’s been dreaming up for more than a year. The next morning, four members of his group skydived from a single-engine Cessna from 12,500 feet. Pastrana performed his jump wearing only sunglasses, socks and surf trunks while holding a can of Red Bull.

On Sunday 22nd July, Extreme Worx fielded the first International event at their recently constructed venue at Taguig, close by the Makati Business district of Manila. The site comprised quite good facilities with dining, change rooms and other creature comforts, however although the 1 km natural undulating Motocross track was sufficient for its inaugural UAM event, actual track surface and layout will be upgraded as Extreme Worx strive to develop the venue into a Motor sport complex.
